Boston-raised, Chicago-braised drummer/singer/songwriter GERALD DOWD has spent the last 30+ years playing with some of the best musicians locally and beyond: decades on the road and in the studio with Grammy-nominated artists Robbie Fulks and Justin Roberts, drumming and singing on hundreds of recording sessions with the likes of Nora O'Connor and Mavis Staples, working with such legendary producers as Steve Albini and Brian Deck, while also releasing albums of his original material. His new album "Father's Day" was released on August 4th, 2023 on Pee Wee League Records, and has been all over the Americana charts for the last several months.
